The Mental Pilates Practice

Seven Weeks and Seven Simple Steps

Mental Pilates is a practice for everyone who wishes to,

         • Lead a vital and fulfilling life
         • Take control of life experiences and emotions
         • Shed unfulfilling patterns
         • Become skilled in executing your optimal life vision

This unique practice of mental exercise and skills development designed to strengthen well-being and vitality is the result of over 10,000 hours of research and training spanning a wealth of disciplines ranging from philosophy and psychology to neuroscience, biology and religion.

Mental Pilates originated as response to a challenge from the Dalai Lama and a group of eminent neuroscientists to create a nondenominational mental exercise practice to strengthen the left prefrontal cortex of the brain – the region of the brain where our core identity, values and purpose reside. On the road to fulfilling this challenge it became clear that many contributory causes have pushed humanity to the brink of constant uneasiness, questioning our identity and self-worth. Collectively we have arrived at the Human Energy Crisis. Mental Pilates is the cure for this debilitating condition.

Just as Joseph Pilates designed physical exercises concentrating on the body’s “core” or “powerhouse,” Mental Pilates centers on strengthening your core identity. A strong powerhouse keeps the body balanced and supports the spine. A strong core identity allows you to achieve a balance of vitality, connection and contribution and supports a fulfilling and vibrant life.
